You guys really need to start putting whether you tested on an o3DS or n3DS in these kinds of posts. It's confusing to people coming to the thread for the first time.

Yeah my first one never. But searched around for latest. About half of the set I originally had from a few years ago didn't work. But look around and they all work now.

Latest ninjhax version of picodrive does not work. Immediate crash after Rom selecting

cia cps1 cannot be installed along with csp2 one (the first installed is replaced by the new one)
And lanching the cps1 core emu just crash the n3ds...why?

The only reason for it to overwrite a SRM file is because it can't read it, I share my SRM files (for testing) between all the SNES cores on PC and that never happens
Normally on any other emulator I've used (from PC, phone, PSP, etc.) moving the srm and using it across different devices is not a problem since the file is universally recognized. That also includes using Retroarch on other devices. For some reason, Retroarch keeps deleting the SRM file for Metroid and Final Fantasy III, but Mario World is just fine. It seems strange to me that only these two games are effected. I've deleted the SRM out altogether and it still gets corrupted whenever the game boots up. This will happen right after the Nintendo logo, you can watch the framerate drop and crawl for about 15 seconds, at which point it's wiped out the SRM.
On the plus side, save states are not effected, so I can just use those.

Yeah the cps-1 cia doesn't work, the 3dsx does tho. And yeah it doesn't have a unique name/id.

Quicknes is GREAT,but it also drops randomly to 58fps and stutters for a sec. Guess it's something that jus happens for now.

Try setting a save directory to something other than <content dir>

Do you mean changing in the directory settings "Savefile Dir" to something else?
I've tried that, and it still won't save. The default directory is sdmc:/retroarch/cores/savefile.
Does the game need to be in a specific place? Because it's in the root of the SD card.

Do you use a bios for cps1? Because most of the games don't boot for me. When they boot they often crash.

I'm on ninjhax 2.1 N3DSXL FW 9.2
no. cps1 dont use bios. you need the correct romset fba 2.97.28 use romcenter to check your roms
http://www.romcenter.com/
first download fba 2.97.28 from page.
open emulator and then misc/generate dat file / arcade dat only
they create a dat file.
open romcenter and open de dat.
add you rom path. and check roms.
