Homebrew Restoring FBI under A9LH?

ok friend of mine who i helped thier setup (walked em thru the guide) everythings been fine and dandy. till lastnight, thier MicroSD gave up the ghost and doesnt have a backup of thier Nintendo 3DS Folder (to restore data)

trying to reinject FBI into H&S under hourglass9 , gives teh error "this will not work on O3DS&A9LH", can they use the .3dsx version +Soundhax to install the CIA vers of FBI?

edit: friend forgot to copy over aeskeydb.bin to SD Root and was causing the issues

You sure you are injecting the right version? There are n3ds ver and o3ds ver.

There's a way to inject it manually on your PC:
1. Download this: https://github.com/d0k3/Universal-Inject-Generator
2. Dump your hs.app with Decrypt9 or Hourglass9
3. Copy hs.app and the lastest release FBI.cia into the Input folder
4. Run go.bat
5. Copy the injected .app file to your SD, and inject it back to Health Safety app.

yes they were i told them to follow Section V Injecting FBI and its what was giving em the error, they allready have A9LH installed but no injected FBI at the time thier SD card gave out so they're just needing to get FBI back to get to a usable state.

To answer the original question, no, FBI.3dsx only works on 9.0-9.2. You need to either give us more information about what your friend is doing, or help him troubleshoot yourself. He must be doing something wrong.

we found out what was wrong, he forgot to copy over aeskeydb.bin to SD Root
