Hey, so i had been killing my iTouch 2nd gen for the last 3 years and i thought of maybe doing it a restoration or mod? not only internal with jail breaking and etc but also external like a new screen, some cool mods and so. Does anyone know how much this thing could cost and also if there is a forum or guide?
Thanks

Well, I recently have just replaced my 2nd gen's cracked screen, and so far it has been working splendidly, costed me about 11 bucks, ordered from amazon. Also, if you have an MB model iTouch, you should try out whited00r, a custom firmware dedicated to keeping the older devices alive and running well. You could also probably replace the aluminum case, but since I didn't want to mess with too much of the internals, I opted for a metal polishing paste, which removed some most of the smaller scratches I had on the back, and made it really damn shiny.
