I want to increase the size of my Ubuntu partition.
I had a 250 GB windows partition which I deleted to make some unallocated space.(I wasn't using it and I moved all my files I needed to the Ubuntu partition.)
Then I went into GParted and moved my swap partition over all the way to the right so i could increase the size of my Ubuntu partition then I resized the partition and hit apply.
Then I got an error with no message it just said unknown.
When I looked at the logs it said at the very last step.
"Cant have overlapping partitions"
and also something about constraints.
Also I forgot to mention there were 2 other bits of unallocated space both were around 2 GB.
My partition table looks like this
Macintosh HD|Unallocated Space|Ubuntu|Unallocated Space|Swap|Unallocated space
140 GB 1-2gb 90 GB 1-2 GB 3GB 250 GB
Also Disk Utility on the mac side doesnt show the small unallocated space areas so I don't know about them.
