hi, I'm trying to play online and I have to sign up for PlayStation Network but when I go to sign up it says .. "A system software update for the PSP system is required. For update methods, refer to the instructions for the PSP system."

how do I sign up? I'm running 5.50 GEN-A (Full) .. idk why it says A it should say B ._ .

when I run the updater for b2 it says success but when I check system settings I'm still in gen-a. any idea what the deal is?

e1;lol I didn't update to gen-b first... i am a dork

i used the xgen updater, straight from 500m33-6 to gen-b
