Gaming Resistance is crashing

I have a PSP-3000 with 5.03 gen-a, I can watch the beginning cutscene of the game just fine, but when it goes to load the first level it just crashes and turns my psp off. Happened twice so far.
Any ideas?

have you successfully played the game before? if not, it may be a .cso issue, or maybe you got a bad download.

Hm well it's an .iso and its my first time playing the game. My friend (he has a 1000 series though) said it plays fine. I guess I can try redownloading it?

get it from somewhere else, you probably got a bad dump or something...
