ROM Hack Requesting translation: Fire Emblem DS

i play all the FE games i can, and have some knowledge of japanese but none yet of DS ROM hacking (looking into it now

) i would love to help if people are interested in this

and because i have knowledge of jap versions of FE (i couldnt wait and bought radiant dawn and played the SNES games) i really wouldnt mind helping

anyway, if anyone is interested im always here

Anyone notice some of the new features? In chapter one there seems to be a mid-battle checkpoint, and apparently there's an online shop.
I'm most missing the official FE music on here, I haven't heard the main theme once yet :'(. And of course the art's sucky. Here's hoping the story and depth make up for it when it finally gets here.

EDIT:According to that guide, to get to chapter 6x and recruit the bonus character Athena, 10 people in your team need to have died by chapter 6. That has to be the suckiest way ever of getting a bonus character.

Please don't Noitara. If you do translate something let it be something that will never be seen anywhere but Japan. This I bet will be released in other regions I am almost positive.

Those savepoints are one-use only, and scattered amongst key locations on every map now. they may dissipate the higher you go in difficulty :/

It plays in the class roll, as well as the ending and promotion bits, I think. Remember: this is a remake of the first Fire Emblem: what has become polished and traditional later in the series cannot be reflected in this game :[

And to get the archer Norn in the prologue, Gordon and one character must also die. These characters, along with the 31 generic units who may join your team, are there if you really, really suck at the game, moreso than Gaiden chapter were in the last five games. Just don't go in expecting the game to be like the latest ones are when this is the first :E

It's Noitora and when I want to play a game that's japanese, I usually mess with it a little and translate a few things so I can have an easier time playing.I don't think you don't want me to share things I would otherwise keep for myself

This post should die. There already is a translation patch. And a series of new patches will be released pretty shortly. Can a mod lock this or delete it? Its basically the same thing as the translation patch but with no progress
