I can't seem to edit the cmb files from Ocarina of Time 3D. I can view them, just not inject textures or anything. I used N3DSCMBViewer by xdaniel to look at the cmb files.
So you cannot edit the CMB files in any way?
if the problem is injecting them, what about going the Luma3DS romhack approach?
Putting the modified files in a specific location (folder with Game ID) and then via Luma making the game boot with those files.

I already know about Luma's LayeredFS. It doesn't help me at all if I can't edit the files to begin with.

I used Cmb viewer too, I exported Link's textures with the option "Dump COLLADA File" as a result, Link textures are now .PNG files, so I can edit them, but the problem is that I don't kno how the inject/import them again since cmb viewer doesn't have such options.

Unfortunately there still isn't a tool that does that...yet. Since Luigi's Mansion's 3DS remake uses similar formats to both Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D, we might see a tool in the future that does that.

So lets see. We can take textures out of the game and turn them into .PNG files, which we can edit.
Is there a way to inject those edited PNG's using Luma?
