What about an action game with platforming elements?, that's the kind of game that's easier and faster to make than any other genre (Unless if you count some puzzle games, pong, or some kind of interactive games, but that's another matter), i'm telling you because with what you stole from Google, looks like the setting for an action 2d platformer game, using Hinata.

Now, I haven't seen Naruto in ages, but from what i can tell, the main skills of Hinata are healing (big surprise) and the use of the, Byakugan?, the eye thingy that could let you see through the "Chakra" of any jutsu or whateverz, and generic normal ninja skills, that is, her skills are rather limited, so you may want to have multiple characters in order to compensate Hinata's lack of anything else, because really, outside of Byakugan and some lucky hit here and there, she wasn't that "Important" to the plot, until the end of Naruto, but that's another matter.

Another thing you could do is making a detective game, where you use Hinata's Byakugan in order to find the real culprit of the "Time Loop", this second option would only rely on sprite characters and dialogue, as well some interactive power thingies that some VN have, or just making a "Multi Allowed Option (ex: 1 - Run East, 2 - Run West)" kind of VN, and you get the bad ending if you do it wrong, and the good if you do it right, whatever suits your taste, but that's the extent of the ideas i have.

Now, for my artist skills... i can't even draw a circle with the mouse unless it looks like a lemon, a yellow megaman lemon to be exact, all i have is some current knowledge of ideas to set up, that's all i can offer for yah.

I haven't actually -seen- much of Naruto Shippuden, but Hinata was my favorite character from the original so I just kinda threw her in... at this point I could use any characters/plot really :P I'm almost done with the menu code then I can just drop in scenes rapidfire to build the game. P.S. it's a graphic novel style game, no action :P

So basically you're writing a visual interactive novel?
You know? I'm a big fan of AGAIN for Nintendo DS.
I kinda... imagine the way you're going with your game.
Technically, you're looking for artists to draw all the scenes/environment? (expressions, backgrounds, objects, items, etc.?)

Yeah exactly! I -could- even put in minigames and such... simple ones, I'm still new to C. Backgrounds I could technically take real life pictures of scenes then fuzz a bit if I wanted to go realistic... mostly just characters I'm looking for I suppose.

I got the menu and choice system implemented, so the engine is basically done.

Edit: the fuzzy letters is a bug in Xerpi's library soooo >_> Working on that

Right now Im about to sleep.
Perhaps... have you seen Tetris DS backgrounds? Specially the first level which is themed after Super Mario Bros.
Maybe you could use ''their'' technique. Nowadays is quite easy to achieve that effect with any photo edition software. You'll save a lot of time by just modifying existing pictures.

I like the concept. It's been done before, but it is a nice concept. I just don't see naruto as a setting that can handle that concept well.

People can turn into animals and make paper explode, I think a curse that affects time isn't that far-fetched xD
