So in Splatoon 2 we now have team chat commands by pressing the d-pad. However we on;y have two: "This Way" and "Booyah"

I propose a third one: the expletive command. Pressing the button would output random symbols like "%&#!" and play a flat horn sound effect, and repeatedly tapping or holding the button would output more and more at larger sizes. Can be used in conjunction with the other two commands.

Thoughts? Wouldn't it be hilarious?

better question: How?

By convincing Nintendo to add it. They've already used expletive symbols in other games (such as Superstar Saga), and this provides a delightful way to blow off the steam of failure - being too comical to stay mad at.

It may need a cooldown timer... Maybe not by default but one that gets slapped onto abusers.

Personally I'd like there to be a "Touché" option because it feels weird to send a "Booyah!" to acknowledge an opponent who took me down skilfully.
Is there still teabagging in online games? I remember that being a big thing back in the Halo 3 days.
The easiest way to get me to fly into a rage. I used to get so mad hahaha

not in Nintendo games, but it is very much alive in competitive FPS games, esp. Destiny.

opponents can't see/hear the messages you send.

someone just teabagged me in Splatoon yesterday. was Japanese, too (I expected less stupid people there).
