Seems when a lot of SE students begin to get comfortable with coding, they like to port emulators from one console to another. For the love of god, could the next person to do this for C128 or C64 PLEASE use VICE as a base? All other C64 emulators are crap in comparison. Even the MAME core is better than breadbox...

Wish there was a stand-alone C64 emulator as the vice core in retrorarch is problematic. Also I would not like to install retrorarch with its ugly frontend for a c64 emulator.

Hope I will find some time soon, wanted to use this as my first Switch project. The Vice core of Retroarch is basically working but a bit annoying to use.

Honestly, I didn’t realize there was a Vice core for RA. Would definitely prefer a straight port, with an interface that’s in tune with the Windows UI (as far as navigation and functionality)
