Please can someone make or work on a Hex editor that allows you to edit save files or something on the 3ds itself without having to insert it into your computer.

Seems very hard to try. Even on my PS3 there is no hex editor without using a pc so I doubt it can be easily made for the 3DS.

Ehh, no it's not hard... just not the most practical because there isn't a keyboard on these consoles... I mean I guess we could use the touchscreen. Also I believe sunshell has one built in.

All you really would need to do is load the file into a buffer, display the buffer in hex and allow the user to change each byte to whatever they want with a keyboard. Simple

Maybe for PS3, but for o3ds it seems kinda not user-friendly and such.

I thought CTRXplorer only allowed you to view hex files?

Recent commits added hex editing functions. There's no official release yet but I'll compile it and attach below.

That would be tricky to do as many games have checksums in the savefiles and you'd need to calculate the new checksum and edit it, which isn't a feature that would normally be in a hex editor and it's specific to each game.
It's actually not too bad. If you need to edit a large number of data it would be slow, but editing a few bytes takes seconds.
