I have recently bought myself a GBA SP model no. AGS-101 the later, rarer version with the backlight from eBay. Gotta love that screen
. Credit to the seller it was exactly as described with flawless screen (thankfully!) but the casing and buttons seen better days so I was looking to replace the housing with one of those kits all over eBay but it occured to me that there may be slight internal changes that mean those replacement shells only fit the much more common front-lit AGS-001 model and thought I'd ask you knowledgeable people on GBATemp .
TL;DR version: Do the replacement GBA SP shells fit the backlit model or just the frontlit one
