Hacking Replace 3DS keyboard without changing region?

I'm quite sure you could patch NS and redirect the applet being called to the japanese tid, similarly to how we patch NS to go to the alternate menu instead of the appropriate region home menu

He's doing the exact same thing as we did to change the phone keyboard of your Language to a Japanese one, just that he's editing a different string inside the same msbt so that he changes the symbol keyboard instead!

Those characters are (in Nintendo's font only) private use characters!

Update with Japanese tenkey + lotsa of symbols in place of Eastern European characters... Europe only as-is
