Homebrew Removing secondhand Old 2DS Pin

Hi, I just got a 2DS in the mail. I ordered it, expecting it to be in a simple "Used" condition, but it came with a Pin. The secret question for it is, "what is your favorite sports team" or something like that. Since I'm not the original owner, I don't have the ability to connect it to the web, and can't use a tool like Salthax. I'm in the process of installing Luma3DS on it, and it's FW version is 7.1. if anyone knows how I can remove this pin, please let me know.

told you, I cant connect it to the internet. I don't see how their tool can access it if I have no way of even connecting it to the internet.

Technically, it's already modded, but I can't get homebrew (the one where you temporarily change ds download play to homebrew) to open. it just freezes on the launch screen. I was wondering if anyone could help with that as well.

This tool generates the "master key" (unlock code) for 3DS, Wii U and Switch parental controls.
Usually, one would have to contact Nintendo for this and explain the case, or have it emailed to the account holder on file.
The main advantage of this tool is that it supports the current algorithm (10 character inquiry number).

To use this, all that is required is system date and the inquiry number displayed on the device.
The "new" algorithm is selected by entering an inquiry number of 10 digits in length. The "old" algorithm is selected by entering 8 digits.
You can enter the inquiry number with or without the space.
