Hacking Removing Screen Protecters off DSLite..

Unfortunately, no. I actually got that SCDS1, 2gb Kingston, Hori kit from leetmod and the protectors are fakes. The rest of the kit is legit and I already have horis so it was no biggie. Dealwoot claims to sell genuine Horis and they included some with my Cyclo purchase. It should be here on Thurs and I can let you know if they are real.

The Hori's I got from LeetMod were legit.

That's odd. After I opened them and realized they were fakes, I looked around the net and found that other people ran into the same problem with them.

Actually, there is no sure way to say if screen protectors you bought are legit or fake.....
One of the ways you can find out would be price, if it's around $7 - $14, then it's probably real, if it's lower, than you can be sure it's fake..
Other way would be buying one legit HORI, and keep it for comparison when you buy other from different site..
DX sells both real and fake ones..they import real HORI directly from Japan and they cost around $7 if I remember well..Fake ones they sell look just the same, but cost $1.50 something around that..
SO you can be sure they have real HORI, for other places, I'm not so sure..

Well, that means it's really small possibility that you've got the fake ones....How much did you payed for them in US dollars?

Depends. Fake ones vary in quality. If you're lucky, then it would be almost identical to the real ones. If you're unlucky, it's a crap quality one that may damage your screen when you try to take it off, or they might be too big for the screen.

Well, in most times, if you get the false ones, the quality won't be that high..And they'll scratch up much faster than HORI ones..
Also if you're really unlucky, you can get screen protectors that use some kind of glue to stick to the screen (not only static), and when you try to remove them, you can get some troubles, not to mention damage the touch screen..
But it's not that bad to get the fakes (I use fake HORI, and it does what it's supposed to do, keep screen from scratches)..
