How do I remove scratches from the outside shell of the n3ds?
well scratches are physical damage the shell has so I don't see how you can remove that but try getting a cloth and wiping the 3ds with it. there's not much it can be done try buying a protector to prevent scratches.
If it's an XL, you could scratch it up even more with something abrasive to give the shell a "brushed metal" look. I've done something similar to my old scratched up iTouch.
If it gets too bad, get a shell replacement.
Thanks for all the replies but I've been recommended a compound that should get most of it off
care to share what this compound is?
I tell you later my friend's getting it first
is it a rubbing compound used on cars? won't that shed the paint away?
I'm not sure he's having difficulty finding it in his house lol
Scratches are literally missing material. You have to FILL them in.
You know what I meant :-p
Check the chemical composition of the solution beforehand. If it contains acetone, do NOT use it on your 3DS as it can potentially dissolve the entire plastic.
inb4 its Brasso or Silvo thats what used to be used to fix scratches in the psp 2k
which does basically what everyone is mentioning just removing a layor of the plastic so scratches are gone
