I confirm Wii00007's method works. The game run without #001 Error. But The #001 Error comes back when I try to install Mario Kart Channel...
Idem.
I search a solution.
The main.dol of the third partition probably needs to be patched with GWP (Byte pattern found at 0x068BA3)

How about PPF patch version 2.0, JinVa?

I'm happy the patch works =)
I try to fix this probleme and post a new ppf patch, I wish the patch will be OK for tonight or before.

That would be great. Do you think it takes a lot of work? I ask this in order to know whether I can wait for a new ppf version, or whether I already play the game with the first ppf.
Once again: Thanks for the great work!

And already thanks for a possible new version!

In fact, I think I have to do the same thing as the 2nd partition but for the 3nd partition and the main probleme is the stap 5.
Ps: Sorry for my english :s

Edit: In fact, the step 5 is easy but I couldn't open the 3nd partition (extract with region frii then reinject in another iso).
I continue my research =)

I did not get a 001 error.

But when i load the game. It just shows up a black screen.

Can i try this method ?

I am using a Jap Wii with D2CKey and running Firmware 3.2J.

@donchen: No, your D2C "accept" games with the drivecheck, your probleme isn't here.
Perhaps a bad media or a failed burn.
Edit:I can't open the 3rd partition, I've tried many methods...
I go back to work ... =)

I don't think this will change something, but maybe you can try to be sure. You can also try JAP freeloader instead.

After applying the ppf the game stars to load and i get the safety screen but then i get the messege saying the disc could not be read please check the manual.

I think that the "classic" second partition is cut in 2 parts

partition 2 with directory list/systeme files .....
partition 3 only data (games and channel...)

If you dump second partition : size = 98 369 536 octets

if you extract files with trucha after patching the iso with
the offset 0x40003 changed from "03" to "02" it's 4 go of data...

I continue my research..but

maybe 2 check in the main.dol ??

bye

It seems that RegionFrii is bugged (because the offset of the third partition is bigger than 0xFFFFFFFF). So extracted partitions #2 and #3 are not the good ones.
With WiiBrowse, partition #3 can be extracted but partition #2 can't be extracted, because his size is bigger than 2 Gb (an another bug ...

)

You can try this way to remove the #001 in the third partition. Not tested yet.

1. With WiiBrowse, extract the #3 partition of MKW iso in encoded format (.enc)
2. With RegionFree, inject this enc file in the first partition of an other two-partition iso.
3. With Trucha, open the two-partition iso and extract the mail.dol of the first partition.
4. With GWP path the main.dol to remove the #001 error.
5. With Trucha, replace the mail.dol of the first partition with the patched file and sign the partition to patch the iso.
6. With WiiBrowse, extract the #1 partition of the patched iso in encoded format (*.enc)
7. With an hexadecimal editor, open the MKW iso, go to offset 0x01155D0000 and replace the 31'588'352 following bytes with those of your generated enc file.

I hope it works.

The Game works with the ppf file from JinVa but sometimes the disc give an Error that the disc can´t be read. I burned a Verbatim+R x8 with 6x and Nero.
