I've combed the Internet for any possible solution (including previous, similar threads here), and tried everything I can think of on my end, and come up completely empty. Frustration doesn't begin to describe it.

I have a PSP 3000 installed with 6.60 PRO-C2 and RemoteJoyLite Ver0.19. Capturing video with RJL is fine; the quality is beautiful. However, I cannot for the life of me get good sound while RJL is activated. It is very specifically RJL causing the issue. I've recorded the same bit of PSP audio, once with RJL on, and once without, and there is no comparison. The former has a constant hum in the background and the voices crackle; the latter is crystal clear, absolutely perfect. I am not using RJL to capture audio, either. WAV capture is in fact TURNED OFF, and I'm using Camtasia to grab both RemoteJoyLIte's video and the audio via Line-in. I can't figure out what it is about RemoteJoyLite just being ON that completely destroys the audio quality. I have no idea how to fix it.

Being able to get beautiful video and beautiful audio but never at the same time is infuriating and frustrating. There has to be some way to fix this problem. What am I overlooking? A setting in CFW somewhere? Do I need a special USB cable? Please help!

You're adding non-trivial work to the console (encoding video frames and pushing them over USB, usage of which is itself a cause of overhead)... no real wonder it lags more :)
You already set the processor speed to 333, right?
