Hacking Remember that Contenthax variant exploiting vWii?

Contenthax isn't really an exploit - it's the principle according to which you can modify the romfs (ie the "content" folder and a little more = almost anything except the executable) of an installed title without breaking its signature

Combined with an actual exploit in the emulator of some DS VC games, it's used in Haxchi and CBHC; but by itself it's not an exploit

There was someone trying to create a coldboot exploit using a vWii contenthax to launch boot1hax. I'm asking if anyone knows what happened next.

The current and only most-coldboot exploit is CBHC (modified-for-convenience Haxchi + setting the base DS game as the default app) - nothing really has been done with regards to earlier parts of the boot sequence since the infamous "hey it's just a wiiu after all" two/three CCCs ago

I know what you mean. But it is not a coldboot exploit. You can call it a warmboot exploit. And it is not so convinient like haxchi with coldboothax, because the wii u is not the fastest console. You can read more about the boot1 stuff here.
