Be sure to have at least 700MB - 1GB of free space in your System Drive.
Howling Theme Tool's runtime extracts the application to:
(System Drive):\Users\(User)\AppData\Local\Temp\ir_ext_temp_(#)
Here it takes around 11MB of your HDD.
Then when you create are about to create your theme package, it creates the folder:
(System Drive):\HowlingTemps\HTT
And this temporary folder's size it's variable, by example, if you choose to create a theme package with 100 themes and all of them haves bgm, it can easily become a 500MB+ folder.
Of course, all the temporary files and folders get's deleted after the software closes.
Solution: be sure to have free space in your System Drive, usually "C:\"
Oh, then that's why some of my themes stay even after I visit the eShop (I bought some themes). So does this also mean that if I buy the first 3 themes of that list then only make 3 themes using your tool, then visiting the eShop won't delete anything ?
there is also a full width romaji that is not ANSI in the IME keyboard...
just a question... the files get's extracted?
and... which it's your operating system?
do you have .net framework installed?

Can this tool be used to import a menuhax theme in case it gets removed, and I have no wifi around? Also, do I have to be in a CFW to view the theme in theme settings, or just to install it?
???
freak...
can you please upload a video showing what happen?
I will also upload you one back later...
Can you send me the icon.smdh from these themes?

I have repeated this time after time around this thread: "DO NOT USE FBI"
Use BigBlueMenu instead.
Yes FBI it's legal and do a lot of pretty stuff, but it does not haves a stable cia files control.
Please, use FBI only if you do not have any other option.
Yes............ but .......... you can avoid it from happening by buying the first 100 themes from your region.
Nintendo does not checks if the theme's body or content management file it's ok
It just checks if you have buy the theme or not and delete the ones you have not buyed.
Howling Theme Tool injects themes over the official ones. It edits the control file and the the containers CFA files to create a new theme package replacing the official ones.
So, the way to avoid eShop deleting your themes it's to buy 100 themes (I you will be so crazy to do this, here it's the list : )
Issue with this and official theme:
I use this with the official themes (most of which I did buy).
Yet, software gives a weird Icon and name in the theme menu, gives it the icon and name of an animal crossing theme. But the theme itself is correct.
For example, the Zelda: 2 world theme. It has the name ACNL: Colorful Pattern and an ACNL icon. Yet the theme is what it is. I checked the folder, as well as my other folder and I see no reason why it should have the anything with ACNL.
Any ideas?
Edit works now. BBM gave me that problem, while Devmenu fix that.
New question: Can you use Shuffle favorites with this? When I go to Shuffle Favorite option, I can't select anything.
Edit 2: Found the solution to that. Just needed to delete CTR-M-HMME-00 to reset things. I suggest information about how to delete theme data be in the OP?
Here are some tips for those who have problems, make sure you didn't miss something before asking a question:
Always run Theme Checker and Howling Theme Tool as administrator, otherwise apps won't get required permissions;
Make sure you're choosing main folder and not one of those where you put themes (not Custom, Custom NSFW or Oficiales, but Example Folder where these 3 folders placed);
There should be at least one folder with theme in any of those 3 folders. Package already have two custom themes included, so you should be OK;
If you're still getting error about wrong folder structure, look for "C:\HowlingConfig\HTT.ini". Try to setup full path to your example folder manually, for example: "PorDefecto=D:\Howling Theme Tool\Example Folder";
Your previous theme pack can conflict with new one, so always delete old one before starting installation (CTR-M-HMME-00, CTR-M-HMMP-00 or CTR-M-HMMJ-00);
Don't use FBI for installing themes, there can be problems with multiple content packages, always use BigBlueMenu or DevMenu;
If you ever used shuffle feature with CHMM, you can encounter a problem, when you can't add themes for shuffling. Simply press Y in shuffle management menu and console will reset extdata.
If you're sure that you did all things properly, but you still have problems, then you probably encountered a bug and can report about it.
can this co-exist with CHMM? xD i hope i make sense..
like , well guys i kind of never managed to get CIA themes working on my 3ds consoles , only CHMM always works brilliantly for me.
i have just now updated my n3ds gw emuNAND to the latest 10.3, what would i need to get the cia themes working?
when i tried it some looong while ago, they never appeared for me in the Theme section insisde the menu of the 3ds, so i always keep using CHMM only.
and i need CHMM , so would it be an issue if i installed Cia themes alongside CHMM?

If I am correct, then Gateway emuNAND doesn't support CIA themes (and other DLC CIAs), so I think you couldn't be able to use them with Gateway.
CHMM replaces the images and sounds in the applied theme, so it can co-exist with CIA themes.
