I’m new to this, and tried to search through the thread as best I could, but couldn’t find a direct answer to my issue. What is the current state of SNES injection? Every game I inject appears to come out fine, and installs on my Wii U without error, but when I try to launch it, I get the message, “There is an error in the softwares data. Restart the console and delete the data for this software.” Has anyone else run into this? Iv’e tried every different option I can think of to troubleshoot, but always get the same result.

The only thing that strikes me as odd is that the Retroinject.exe only flashes for half a second before closing. For all I know, that could be how it’s supposed to behave. Seems more likely that it’s not actually running though.

 

I put my gba rom in the files folder, yet it says that there isn't any rom in the files folder and aborts.

 

Hey not sure how to fix this error? I've only inputted the Wii U Common Key and DKC 64 (PAL) title key, then pressed download. The window below pops up:

Also, wondering if there is a way to inject Arcade roms to play like a VC title, such as The Simpsons arcade game, X-men, TMNT, WWF etc?

 

whats is the folder structure you have setup look like?
In your "Install" folder each game should have a folder with all the files on the root of each folder, can you confirm that for me? should be like:
SD:\Install\WUP-N-BOOT_000500029421FFF0\lots of files, .app, .cert, .h3, .tik, .tmd (no folders)

My Process is always:
-Load HomeBrew Launcher
-Load WUPInstallerGX2
-Install selected injects to USB

 

You may want to retry that, the sizes of the files seem way too small. It may also be a bad dump/rom
Nvm, the size is about right actually, my math was wrong there.
Still give it another try tho, that game works fine for me

 

Actually last time i tried injecting it it didnt work either. i need to look into it by myself.

 

Hm I just used Injectiine using the same files I originally had, and it worked. Still a great program Nico!
