Okay, now that this is out, can someone please update dsiguide.me? I only get to a set of dual white screens after executing the flipnote thing, and 2222.nds is on my root of my SD card as the instructions say.

I'm on OFW v1.4.5, I have flipnote, a 16GB SD card that works, the files are on the SD card, so where do I go from here? So far, I have FwTool on the root of the sd card as 2222.nds, like the instructions say, but I just get 2 white screens after the final erase+paste.

Should I also warn everybody not to use it as in the leaked version? As it's exactly the same file byte by byte. Is it also unsafe as the leaked one then?

Instructions are included in the .zip - nothing has really changed since the Incident™. There might be improvements later on (but we'll see).

I recommend installing sudokuhax with this as to avoid the "copy/paste 122 times" step every time you wish to run homebrew.

But why only releasing this, and not the source nor a little writeup?
Sorry for the provocation, I'm very grateful that there are still people who are working on a platform like the Dsi; but if the problem is "it takes a lot of time and research to develop exploits", and not the noob safety one, why not let the community to help?
Because if more people work on the same thing...

I'm stuck trying to extract my SRL... I drag 4B475545.bin to the extract srl.bat like it says, but I get an error:

The DSi guide has been updated, however it doesn't state that this release works only for USA region consoles. Is there something I am missing or does the exploit actually work for other regions now?

Is there a specific requirement to that .nds file? the only thing I'm able to run is the old fwtool, hbmenu and my TWLnf doesn't run. I haven't tried this "release" though, I tried with the leaked one.

BTW It's been several months since that leak, but nothing has changed, interesting.

iirc the payload inside the pack is pretty old, so homebrews compiled with the latest devkitarm may not work... I've seen someone uploading an updated payload inside the old ugopwn thread...

So why it's still like that? if TWLnf can work, the downgrade and/or sudokuhax/4swordshax injection could be faster and safer.
