Themly have new update now ?? I see there's qrcode on the web..
But how to scan it ?
If you click the little QR code, it'll tell you that it's for a future update. I imagine to download, erman plans for you to click it to make the QR code for it appear, then you can scan it from within Themely to instantly install/download it.

It's not ready yet, though. Going to be really handy for people in the future, though.

@erman1337 Themely is presenting a problem, only loads 25 Themes, plus I have 29 themes in the themes folder.

All you need to replace CHMM2's place in my heart is to get shuffle installation to work and "fixing" how it arranges the themes (make it alphabetically by the folder name pls)

Once again, thanks erman for all your work now that chmm2 is confirmed ded.

@erman1337 it froze on applying shuffle to my o3ds. just put themely on it today
I'm having the same (or a similar) issue. Shuffle works completely fine on my New 3DS, but on my Old 3DS, trying to install theme shuffle just causes it to go to the 'Power Off' screen, and when I return to the Home Menu, just the plain white theme is shown.

This theme manager is waaaaaaaaay better than chmm2, thanks a lot! i'd really love the theme downloader feature, hope that you caninsert it in one of your next updates :)

Here is an easy way to download it directly on the 3ds:

1. Get Themely and Multidownload
2. Install both
3. Open Multidownload and press "Change Download Location"
3. select sdmc:/themes as download location
4. Use Scan "QR Code" to scan the qr codes of your wanted theme
5. Open themely
6. ???
7. Profit

The Auto zip correction could ruin some downloads, but it worked for me quite well (only one theme didnt work)

why do you even have the Old 3ds if you have the new one? just sell it
Probably the same reason I have a 2DS that I'll never get rid of? It's a nice system, I like collecting them and having a second 3DS can be useful. Heck, even if I didn't collect them, I could see good reason to hold onto one for my niece and nephew to play around with.

Let's not worry too much about why other people have what they have.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I just only got around to installing this..
All i can say is what have i been doing with my ill themed life. This program is flawless
It really is. It's smooth like butter compared to CHMM2. Not that I don't appreciate CHMM2. It was the best option for a time.

That looks like a lengthy task, thanks though
I'll look into it
(btw this is mainly 'cause some themes' names are way longer than the display in the app and are chopped off/go overboard... or are you planning a text slide functionality or something like that)
Go download howling theme tool and use the howling theme checker included to genarate them for all the themes in a folder

Checked OP and saw that there are no known bugs listed so i thought i might post this here to see if anyone could provide some info for me

Using one theme at a time works perfectly fine but when using shuffle the background music does not loop, it just stops playing.

Has anyone run into this issue or know of a way to fix this?

edit: this is coming from someone who has never used shuffle before so if it is suppose to be like this then please let me know

This is Themely, a theme manager I've been working on in the last few days. Since the developer of CHMM left the 3DS Homebrew scene, I've felt that there was a need for a new theme manager.

These are the first releases, so it's quite barebones.

Features:
- 11.4 support

- ZIP support (ignores invalid ZIPs)
- BGM preview support (CHMM is usually hit or miss with this one)
- Instant theme preview
- Fullscreen preview
- Install without BGM
- Theme shuffle (new in v1.2.0)
- Theme dumping (new in v1.2.0)
- Theme deleting (new in v1.2.0)
- Self updater

Planned features - Known bugs

Thanks to:
- People at Nintendo Homebrew discord #dev channel (especially @MarcusD)
- DevkitPro contributors
- ctrulib contributors
- xerpi for sf2dlib and sftdlib
- Everyone who helped making 3DS Homebrew development better for everyone

More coming soon.

i thought this would allow you to download in app

Just updated themely, changed a theme and when press "home" the 3ds froze.
Press Start instead of Home to apply it properly. The Power Off screen will pop up (that's normal), just press Home from there to return to Home Menu without needing to reboot the system entirely

yes, I know, I'm pressing "home" to return to home menu, but the 3ds froze. Then I pressed power to turn off the console.

Turn on the console, and the theme was changed, but when tried to change to another theme (the first one) I got the same response
