I still have no idea how to repack and edit ending lags
Noob here, I have several questions. I have an European Old 3DS with CFW, and a while back I got an error with DTLS, I searched for it here and found out it was because this isn't compatible with European version of Smash. I was wondering if that was fixed. I also saw something saying that SaltySD is also not compatible with other regions other than US, and I have no idea how SaltySD works so if anyone could tell me if I can even mod Smash with the European version and if yes, how, thanks.
So I should just look for a US Smash 3DS .cia? I know very little about this, I only recently downgraded. If you have CFW, I'd just recommend using a region free USA version. The save should transfer over with JK's.
You can find a region free version of smash on "That iso site." You don't have to use RXtools. So I should just look for a US Smash 3DS .cia? I know very little about this, I only recently downgraded.
EDIT: I have CakesFW, which apparently isn't region-free. I saw that rxtools is region-free so can I get any US Smash .cia and rxtools will be able to run it on my European 3DS?
If yes, and I know this probably isn't the right place but I haven't seen anything about changing CFWs, how do I change from CakesFW to RxTools?
Thank you! I didn't find it earlier but I found it now, but the link says Smash Bros. 3DS USA Region-free blah blah (...) CFW: NoYou can find a region free version of smash on "That iso site." You don't have to use RXtools.
Are you planning to release a version with copy/paste and selectable text? It's reallly long editing a character with this. Is there a way to convert my 3ds files to Wii U or do I have to copy/paste all my code? (finally got mods working on wii u)The current version released has a few issues, one of them being that the release build has an issue opening more than one command list. About things showing as unknown, it's simply that the events.cfg file isn't up to date. The latest one is on my github will fix the problem with certain moves crashing and fill in some info.
I suppose now is better a time than any to get an actual workable version out. You can grab it here. I'll update the OP as well, here is the current changelog
NOTICE: Selection is not working with the new codebox, that's why it's a prerelease
- Allow parsing all fighter animations by selecting the fighter's "motion" folder (the folder containing the other folders named "body" and such), rather than selecting the main.pac/bch.
- Restructured the tree view for better usage
- Renamed Frame_Speed_Multiplier to Set_Frame_Duration to better indicate usage
- Current tab handle is colored green to easily distinguish from non selected tabs
- Fix switching / opening tabs causing crashes in release builds
- Fix Parse Animations throwing errors on certain characters
- Fix rebuilding ACMD crashing on taunt, crouch, etc
- Merge new custom codebox branch
- Add IASA / Allow_Interupt command
- Add TRUE/FALSE/COMPARE/IS_BIT_SET commands
- Autocalc TRUE/FALSE/GOTO commands.
- Autoformat on entering closing bracket '}'.
- Remove indent level and do indenting based on enclosing brackets.
- fix save as
- fix parsing animations in fighter mode
- fix save in fighter mode
- add "mode" combo box to file menu to save as either big endian or little endian for wiiu/3ds.
- display subaction index next to CRC in treeview
- return to displaying empty event lists in fighter mode to preserve subaction indexes.
- Update with new 1.1.4 commands
- parsing animations now preserves subaction index
- Allow adding commands to empty lists
- fix infinite loop memory leak when someone mistakenly opens anything other than ACMD

Will this new version also fix the bug that when you grab, using a fighter with a modified moveset the game crashes in the 3ds version? The copy/paste and selectable text is the next thing on my todo list as it is the last thing still left for me to do to complete the new custom CodeBox control. Its a fairly complex matter however. As far as saving as WiiU, i implemented a feature for doing just that by changing the mode in the File dropdown menu from 3ds to wiiu and vice versa. However, i think it might currently be broken. I'll be pushing a commit soon and uploading a new ver that fixes a bunch of these problems quite soon![]()
try different events.cfg because this bug don't happen to me and I modded all charactersWill this new version also fix the bug that when you grab, using a fighter with a modified moveset the game crashes in the 3ds version?
I don't know where the events.cfg file is.try different events.cfg because this bug don't happen to me and I modded all characters
There are 2 download links in the OP. One stable version and 1 beta. They both contain a different Events.cfg file. Try switching between the 2I don't know where the events.cfg file is.
Is it a part of the program? Or is it something else?
Like using the beta events.cfg with the stable version of the program? Are the stable and beta programs the same but with small differences/ bugfixes? There are 2 download links in the OP. One stable version and 1 beta. They both contain a different Events.cfg file. Try switching between the 2
