1360x720 is the best resolution for me to read my manga quiet without lag or freeze oww yeah

this is not cia

Whoops, I'm stupid. That was a very careless mistake.

Anyway, I can't seem to find a cia.
If you can find a cia for lpp-3ds, then you can run this.
I was wondering...Maybe we can work together! Because i have a thread that is 3DSBooks!
I've seen that. You made another thread where you make images with text and then read them with SunShell (or whatever it's called.)

You could use this to read your 3DSBooks image things if you wanted to. I'm not sure how this'll react to images smaller than the 3ds's top screen size though. (Which isn't that big, so I wouldn't worry about it. 400x240 I think.)

Yea, where do you expect we can get manga picture files?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I put a SMDH file that says 3DSBooks. I put my name and your name for aurthur. If you want you could rename the project and such. If you want to get the SMDH file just ask me.

Fixed ;)

Great homebrew! I found 3ds is the best platform for reading virtual books/mangas.
I think option config files should be separated from script in a file called config.lua in root of sd or something (this will allow placing homebrew in custom folder). Please make options to be saved and dot be reset to default on exit/start. Can you make a placeholder feature? I mean so you press on a button when you on page 32 and when loading app next time it'll start from page 32.
Thanks for this great app.

1.5 is out!
All it does it make it so the page number is saved for each manga.
I only tested it out in Citra. Hopefully it'll work on a real 3ds too.

What do you mean by "and dot be reset to default on exit/start"?
What dot?
Anyway, I may make it so the options are saved sometime this weekend. When I'm really board. But maybe not. I don't know.
If you really got tired of editing the options every time, you could edit the index.lua file and change the default values for each option. The variable names for those are pretty strait forward. (ex: prefix, filetype)

oops, I meant not.
Thanks for 1.5 release! It'll be cool if you make background music mangas. (Like you can put BGM.ogg in folder with photos and it will play on background)

Opening a manga on 1.5 version gets me:

Error: [string "?"]:34: attempt to compare number with nil

I have been able to open it once successfully, the first time, so I think it's to do with saved page numbers. 1.4 works fine.
O3DS 10.1 Ironhax

Go into your manga folder and copy the file called page.txt to your computer.
(Ex: Manga/Naruto_Ch1/page.txt)
Then delete it from your 3ds. This'll fix your problem if it's related to the page number saving.
Open page.txt in notepad and tell me what's in there.
(I'm expecting the file is empty.)

Yep, it was empty. Thanks!

I think it's better to select rather than input.
We can also simply load the pictures in a folder with alphabet order, no mather what format the picture is in.

How about making it where it's not fully zoomed in on the page. Make it able to zoom in and out?

That way your not zoomed in on only a small part of the page.

Or make it where the page fits the dimensions of the bottom screen perfectly and remains the same width on the top page.

Zooming will never be a feature. Sorry.

Unless people are willing to shrink down their images to a pretty small size.
