i always leave it to default allocation size and it works fine for me...but if someone who knows better is saying othervise than listen to him, but i tell you, i always set it to default and it works with no problems.
Just make sure your microSD in RED card is formatted as exFAT,
and micro SD in BLUE card is formatted as FAT32
