trying to download/install youtube with eshop spoof (free multi patcher) on 9.2 sysnand in GW sysnand mode (also rxtools), but no luck
anything else I should try?
gives error 007-2999, puts an icon on main screen showing 99% download and if I click download/continue is asking for FW update

Did you try to download it in standby or direkty in the eshop? Downloading in the home menu seems to be broken often.

direct not in standby as I don't want the sysnand to update to 9.9
I never keep the console in sleep mode

I can't get portions of the Theme shop to work. If I press "All themes" on my 9.5J Emunand, I get "data could not be obtained."
I can buy themes that aren't under all themes perfectly fine, though. What's up with that?

Yes

And since you're talking about sysnand, you can remove the update pop up by using the recovery menu and saying No when it asks if you want to update your system

It seems it's not possible to use the backdoor svc from .3ds, without kernel hax. Every time I try to add it to the allowed svcs it says the gamecard got removed. I will try to create a lite patcher .3ds, but it will only work if the firmware is 9.2 or lower.

@RednaxelaNnamtra First some news for you.

Currently, 173210 (Cakes), AlbertoSONIC (RxTools) are all doing work to support ARM11 patches.
Sort of interesting, isn't it? Indeed i would like AlbertoSONIC to use the patch layout you created. Or ELF?
And for 173210, he is busy implementing the ELF loader.
If interested, you could contact AlbertoSONIC to ask him about the progress.

Would you like to collect some features in the wish list? If that is OK (i don't push it on you), i would like to add two:
1.Out-of-Region DLC. and Locale Emulation. To user defined, system, or the list (as NTR), or the title get launched.
2.Back to emuNand once exits from MSET.

I've found there is a big problem for those out-of-region DLCs and some out-of-region games that would request for locale and font emulation.
I know this is out of your current knowledge.. Well some guys are already playing those with NTR.

However NTR isn't opensourced, nor does some of its plugin.
I don't know if someone would request for community help on guessing the purpose of HomeMenu and MSET.

This is the Locale Emulation Plugin for NTR, that could solve out-of-region DLC issue.
-- and some games', also. ie. Puzzle Dragon Z+Mario Edition.
Get IDA66 to figure out what those functions do above the "main".
-- There is one illegal copy flying around. Sorry i could not share that to you (rules).
You'd better find an expert helping you with the implementation.
