Yes, very very reliable (In the ~year that I used it I had <20 failed boots with it)Alright, but what if you are on O3DS v4.x? Does CakeHax work with that as well and is it as reliable?

Only running via HBL you need...
D9UI/
Decrypt9UI/
And that's it.
D9UI folder on the sd root and the Decrypt9UI folder in the /3ds folder.![]()

The same as Decrypt9thanks...
another question, same question but relating to emunand9tool...
the things that i see in the zip are:
3ds\
E9UI\
EmuNAND9\
starterGen\
EmuNAND9UI.bin
EmuNAND9UI.dat
Launcher.dat
EmuNAND9UI.nds
thnks sir...
do i still need the -EmuNAND9\ folder which contains starter.bin? The same as Decrypt9
So...
E9UI/
EmuNAND9UI/

Ahh yeah that too.do i still need the -EmuNAND9\ folder which contains starter.bin?

@d0k3 , Just noticed that both links go to your release and github instead of @Shadowtrance...

Thank you, will fix this...@d0k3 , Just noticed that both links go to your release and github instead of @Shadowtrance
Hi,
i wanted to create an EmuNand with a 64GB sd card. The Free / Max Storage size does not work work correcrly, and i am not able to install emunand on this sd card.
Is this a common bug or are sd cars onply supported up to 32GB ?
Meanwhile i use my card in sysnand and use pasta cfw + fbi

It's done like that (the UI folder on sd root) because not everyone uses the 3dsx version so it's a little more universal having the UI folder there rather than somewhere else.is it possible for the GUI version that you put the gui images in the emunand9ui folder?
I seriously don't understand why every single homebrew has to clutter the sd card like this![]()

Well, you can rename the SD card (at least what Windows Explorer displays) much easier in Windows Explorer itself. If you place the .3DSX into a hex editor you can change the name the program names the SDcard from "EMUNAND9SD" to basically anything you want, an example being "GATEWAYNAND".
I need more / different details. Where you able to run EmuNAND9? You are still on or below 9.2, correct? What happens if you try to dump the SysNAND (onscreen output?) and does dumping the EmuNAND work?Hi again,
yesterday i startet to set up emunand on a 2DS. I had the same issua as postet here. Before my second try, i downloaded your latest Version and the issue has dissappeared. But maybe it was my fault, because i had only places the files from the 3ds folder correctly?!
Anyway, i still got a issue. I couldn't dump sysnand to sd card. Here is what i have done yesterday.
#1 Format 2DS
#2 Format sd 64GB on pc with FAT32
#3 reinsert in 2DS and first startup after format
#4 Shut off 2ds
#5 Place everything that is needed for hbl, emunand etc. on sd card
#6 Reinsert sd-card, rebuild dbs folder
#7 Start hbl with browser, install menuhax?themehax.
#8 Start hbl with menuhax?themehax, then minipasta
#9 Run hbl with browser, start fbi, install fbi.cia
#10 Change theme to delete menuhax?themehax
#11 shutdown, run hbl with browser, starting emunand.....
Thats it, so far.

But it can be easily changed if you want to do it yourself and compile it. It's as simple as changing the path here and building it... https://github.com/Shadowtrance/EmuNAND9/blob/UI/Makefile#L28 same with Decrypt9 https://github.com/Shadowtrance/Decrypt9/blob/UI/Makefile#L28
/3DS/EmuNAND9/UI/ will work as theme files storage as well. And, well, we'd very much prefer to have one all-in-one file (no external theme files), but there is a size limitation for ARM9 payloads, thuis external files are requried for beautiful onscreen output.I see, that's a good reason, I wish I could compile stuff, but I never get it done xD

If you use /3DS/EmuNAND9/UI/ instead of /E9UI/ it is pretty much out of sight.oh, I understand its needed for the gui, that's no problem at all, I just freak out when I look at my sd root xD
guess I'm OCD about it, everyone just drops shit there, I would prefer if everyone keeps his shit together![]()
