This was made for 2.1, maybe if this make for 2.5 is better in functions.
Makes no difference, works the same for 2.1 and 2.5, as any other homebrew (except blargness, which actually got updated to profit from 2.5 enhancements or something)

Any intention to add any kind of UI for this or is it just remaining a bare bones SD explorer?

(By the way really really like this as it has been very very useful!)
To be blunt, there are no plans for a graphical user interface at the moment. A good GUI would take up a lot of development time, which should rather go into new features and improving existing ones. I wouldn't mind if someone else would do it, but actually the CTRXplorer source code on Github was forked exactly zero times till now.

It would be great if this could view screenshots (BIN or extracted PNG)

So: https://github.com/d0k3/CTRXplorer/issues/2
and: https://github.com/d0k3/CTRXplorer/issues/3
Well, normally the issues function on Github is not for feature requests ;). I'll look into it, and if the ctrcommon library provides something useful maybe I'll just add it in. There are still a few things higher on the list (basic hex editing, searching in hex files) right now.

What @suloku said. No need to compile this anew for 2.5.

ATM, current latest version doesn't return properly to HBL with new *Hax2.5. This is the only issue I can see.

OK, I posted this yesterday but then doubted myself.

This (and other homebrew) fails to launch often for me. I get stuck on a dark red screen.

However, my workaround is to launch MAME which hijacks the YouTube app for loading. Then immediately quit it, and everything (including CTRXplorer) will load without issues.

Any ideas?

I'm on 10.1.0-27E, N3DS, *hax 2.5, homemenuhax 2.0

Oh, great advice... I wonder if hijacking CTRxplorer directly with the YT app (same way as MAME emulator) works too!

I'm on 9.0.0, N3DS, and have used CTRXplorer via several Ninjhax versions, Themehax 1.x and 2.0, as well as the CIA. I never had any problems starting it at all. Are you using the most recent version of CTRXplorer? Also, it might have to do with your FW version, I can't say. Are there any other 10.x users with similar problems out there?

I'm using this:

- O3DS, FW10.1U
- MenuHax 2.0 (updated *Hax2.5)
- Latest github CTRXplorer (0.8.7)
- HBL Grid (from mashers)

CTRXplorer doesn't return properly to the HBL (stays on entire black screens and 3D indicator led turns on)... But, if I use CTRBootManager+HBL grid, CTRXplorer returns fine... Personally, ATM, I didn't test with another HBL (like original or Suloku's version).

Edit: @SomeGamer said CTRXplorer for him is working pretty fine, but I remember he also said that he had compiled CTRXplorer by himself! Something about that could have any to see with?

You are lucky.
i use menuhax 2.5 to try and run this - most of the time i get only a yellowscreen-lockup :(

it works ok if i launch it with a cubic ninja cartridge and ninjahax 1.1 - but not 2.5

i have o3ds with 9.2 system

I have had this app installed for a long time knowing how good it is, but never actually had a reason to use it.. Until the past 2 days.. And I gotta say, it works great!

If I may suggest one thing though:
If I try copying/moving a file from one directory to the other, where that file already exists, it gives an error that the file is already there. Is is possible to implement an overwrite feature instead of having to delete the file from the second directory before the copy/move?
