i have a question

i am trying to play out of region dlc
this cia worked but with rxtools i gotta open the ntr cia everytime i wanna play the game

with luma3ds there is another way of playing out of region dlc i think
i wanted to ask whether you also have to open something else to make it work there

Luma natively supports region free with one of the options in the select screen

Maybe when the "final" version I'm working on will be ready.

every time I close a game and try to load another game, it keeps loading the 3ds logo. it happens on NTR 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4, is it normal? @Nanquitas
Yeah, it's not normal but in the same time it is.

It's a problem of memory I think...

Seems like the resources allowed to a plugin aren't well freed after the game is exited.
But I may be in the wrong.

Anyway, we can't fix that so we'll say it's normal. :p

Just reboot after each game.
That's why I suggest to launch the 3.3 at least, the menu power in the NTR menu allows you to trigger a reboot from the menu, it's easier for rebooting the 3DS than keep pressing the power button for 10s. ^^

how would I reboot like that?? I'm not quite understanding

How to reboot:
  1. Press X + Y to call the NTR Menu
  2. Go to the sub menu Power
  3. Select reboot and press A
  4. Wait for the 3DS to reboot
This sub menu is only included from the version 3.3, it doesn't exist on the 3.2.

I'm currently on 11.1, A9LH_Luma3DS and this always fails.
It gave me an error saying,
"Param is missing: ntrConfig->PMSvcRunAdd
The loading of NTR failed.
#UNKNOWN_FIRM"
You should reboot your console and try again."

Anyone know what the problem is?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Nvm, I was having an outdated NTRSelector.cia

Apologize if this has been asked before, between version 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4, which one is the recommended version to use for Old 3DS? According to this github page, it is 3.2 (because 3.4 is for New3DS only).

But the strange thing is, I can run 3.4 on my Old 3DS, but not 3.2. I always get error message when trying to run 3.2

::EDIT::
3.2 works now, but should I use 3.2 or 3.4?

You sorta answered yourself... Even if it's working, don't use it on o3ds. It's barely stable on n3ds as it is.

Works great with the front page game translation "Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D" !!

* selecting version 3.3 work best on a old 3DS *

Just be sure to grab the cheats from "that" speedfly site..oh and pressing Y+X will bring up the cheat menu ^_^"

Update 2.0 is out :D

Update 13/10/16:
- A brand new UI thanks to the graphics ressources made by @FONZD, the UI is
mainly designed by him
- Add an auto-updater which will auto install the last release from my github
- Add a check for an already running NTR, so no more crash because you've loaded it twice
- Reduce the time need for the boot
- Try to improve the boot rate
- Add the path patcher made by @chaoskagami (not usable on 3.2)
- Add a first launch menu to help configuring the paths:
  • You have the choice between two presets configurations
  • Or you can enter your owns paths with the built-in keyboard
- New banner and Icon by @FONZD
