There are other programs to convert 3ds bflim files.
If you can send me some, I might be able to do it. :)

Sure, I would be more than happy to. There are various other BFLIM python scripts out there, but none of them seem to get the job done.
If you know of one, I'd be more than happy to use it instead of have you waste time implementing it.
I'll PM you with one soon.

Really nice work you've done there ! Love it :)
Question: is it normal if theres a lot of files i cant open, even if they are ^o (bc1) ? Or is it something on my side?
Ps: if you need testings pm me, i have spare time and i'm glued to my wiiU lately so its the best time to test stuff :P

Keep up the great work.

Thought this was dead? Well, think again.

I just released v2.0!

Changelog:
  • Added support for BGR8, A2RGB10, RGB565, A1RGB5, ARGB4, L8, A8, A8L8, A4L4, ETC1, BC4, and BC5.
  • Fixed BC1, BC2, and BC3.
  • Added a functional DDS reader and header generator.
  • Added the ability to create BFLIM files from scratch.
  • Added parameters calculation for more accurate (de)swizzling.
  • Ported Swizzle and calculation code to Cython for more speed.
  • Cleaned up the code.

Please note that this might be the final release as I won't be improving this program anymore.
But feel free to report bugs because I might fix them and make a new release.

Download.
