Yes its compressed and encrypted. My packer apparently isn't working I'll have to spend a little time working out why at some point, once it is, I'll release it.

Did you looked the exeFS ? i am really curious if it work with JIT, i don't have much time this week to it, because, if it is possible on 3DS, we can write really very GOOD emulators to 3DS(it's PSX, CPS1, CPS2, Neo-Geo).

Quick question.
I have the value, so do I just key the hex into notepad and save as .bin?

You will need to edit in HEX mode or else you will be saving ANSI characters->HEX which will be different.

Use HxD, bvi, or a plugin for Notepad++ (which is what I use).

Thanks Relys and st4rk for your prompt replies.

I'm presently trying to create a .cia from a card2 game,
to see if I can use the .cia save game transfer from card2 onto .cia

I'm using Pokemon X as an example,
and I already have slot0x25KeyX.bin on my sd root.

Step 1. Drag game onto ctrkeygen for ncchinfo.bin
Step 2. Copy ncchinfo.bin into sd root
Step 3. Run launcher

At this point, I run into an error:

Opened! Reading info...
Number of entries: 6096128
Too many/few entries, or wrong version ncchinfo.bin

Any idea what I'm doing wrong.

The error persists on my end.

Could it be because I am not using your ctrkeygen?
I'm not good with pythons

(I'm using the common ctrkeygen.exe that I could find)

Or maybe I didn't hex edit properly?
(heck, I used hxd and just copy pasted the hex into the hex areas)

Reading the python script I think they volontarily add FFFFFF at the start of the file so old tools stop working cf :
#4 bytes = 0xFFFFFFFF Meant to prevent previous versions of padgen from using these new files
You just have to install python 2.7 to make the python one working, then drag & drop the rom on it works like the exe one.

Now that we have access to the NCCH partitions stored on the SD card, when can we get a tool to add NCCH partitions to a NCSD so that we can make usable CIA backups?
