[WIP/Release] ds_mangaman - Turning the Nintendo DS into the Ultimate Vertical Book-Style Manga Reader!

Hi everyone! I’ve always felt that the Nintendo DS is criminally underrated when it comes to being a dedicated manga-reader. Think about it: it has two screens built right into the form factor, one of them has a precise (not quite most of the time though) touchscreen, and when you rotate the console 90 degrees counter-clockwise, it perfectly mimics the ergonomics of holding a real physical tankobon (manga volume). When held vertically, the D-pad sits perfectly on the bottom, and the shoulder keys (L/R) are in the ideal position for switching chapters. Plus, the touchscreen can be used to magnify for reading the text or inspecting details. Such interactions are the ultimate form factors that modern smartphones just can't match. To prove this, I built ds_mangaman — an open-source, highly optimized homebrew manga viewer for the NDS/NDSL. Since I feeling some update will block out the R4i RTS firmware from working on M3 Real/i Zero. I think it's about time we find away to hack iTouch again to work on M3 Real/iZero. It's been a few months since they locked it out from working and no one really has done anything about it. I know there isn't a large fan base for the iTouch, but there are fans of the Quad-Boot and I fear it could come to an end with any update.
So I will start off what I have done so far.
So far I have tried using the same method as the R4i RTS. I used and out of date boot.eng and tried patching it and it got no where. Then I tried patching it with R4i RTS and it loaded on the M3 Real, but still didn't boot the games.
So any ideas on how to get it to load games again?
