Hardware Region changing from EUR to US reduced my TWL nand significantly

So recently changed my 2DS XL from EUR to US. The problem is that now I don't have as much TWL as I did before. I wanted to have a couple of DSIware titles on my 2DS but now I can't have much because I only have around 180 blocks after I changed regions... please help
