Hacking Regarding in game downloads

Hello once again! I wanted to ask the community yet another question xD

I am aware that gateway at this time does not support online play, but is it possible to connect to the internet to download IN game content?

I am currently playing Monster Hunter 4 and in the menu is its own category called "download"
its mainly for Newer quests items etc, now, my question is.. can I connect to it?

Yes it is possible but only for your region.

Because ive been able to connect to the Japanese servers for monster hunter portable 3rd (psp) sp connecting from here shouldnt be an issue

Just a point, can you download game/rom updates for your region via Emunand 7.1 when it scrolls across the bottom of the top screen?

I don't know what you mean by scrolling but installing game updates is possible, yes. Only for games from your own region though, as you don't have access to the other region eShop to download patches.

When you highlight the game in the 3DS home page say Mario & luigi dream team on the top screen but scrolling along the bottom it says connect to the internet for a software update, can this be done for all games as long as the game is for your region say in my case E for Europe not USA region using Gateway mode 7.1 emunand?

Yeah, I think as long as it's the right region you should be able to update everything. At least for now it is, but I doubt it'll change soon.
