Mod for Redout that increases framerate from 30 FPS to 60 FPS. It is hitting that target framerate most of the time in handheld mode when using the below overclock, upping the GPU clocks more could get it to a locked 60 FPS. Only tested in portable mode and I dont think the framerate could get to 60 FPS in docked mode since the resolution is higher but using ReverseNX you can make the game run at the handheld graphics preset.

Code:
handheld_charging_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_mem=1600

To install just copy the exefs_patches directory to the atmosphere folder.
Should only work on version 1.0.2.
Enjoy.

Credits to @masagrator for finding how to edit graphics settings in UE4 games on Switch using exefs patches since editing romfs didnt change anything.

yes.. please

Here it is. Currently i have set it to 9.0 intead of 0.6 so you might get some frame drops without OC.
To change that open the .ips file in a hex editor, look for offset 0B, you will see 39 which is ASCII 9 in hex, my way to change it is to exclude the first bit which is 3 and change the second byte to the number i want f.e if i want 7.0 as the view distance ill change 39 to 37. In offset 0C there is 2E which is a dot after that in offset 0D there is 30 which is ASCII 0 in hex if you want to change it its the same as 39.
EDIT: Here is a better version of this that saves performance while still removing all popping https://gbatemp.net/attachments/redoutdrawdistance4-rar.184929/

This game uses dynamic resolution? If so it could be cool force everything to 100% (the way resolution is displayed in UE games)

I don't know if this apply to the Switch port as well, but according to Digital Foundry, this game uses a very weird form of dynamic resolution based on where you are on the track or something. So if the area of the track is rather complex, it lowers the resolution. It does not seem to be related to workload or something (like in any other game!).
But maybe someone could look up the specific resolutions and increase them a bit, I mean this is just brutal. You often don't even recognize the track or enemies. It's unplayable for me in mobile mode, and overclocking doesn't help due to their implementation of dynamic res.

Tried with “4” and it get rid off the pop-up, setting it to “9” produced graphical issues and unnecessary CPU/GPU overload :)
