Hacking REDnand messed up my games?

So i was following a guide (not sure if I'm allowed to post links) but I followed the guide and managed to install haxchi and use mocha CFW to create REDnand partition on my SD card and I can see that when
i'm booting into rednand everything is working as it should (loadiine.ovh working to launch into HBL) and I can boot into Loadiine but as soon as I pick a game (that has DLC installed on SYSnand) Mario Kart 8 the whole thing just black screen / freezes.

while on REDnand I've tried using loadiine.ovh to boot into HBL and launch from there = no success
I used the haxchi DSI on my wii u to boot into HBL then loadiine = no success

And also for some strange reason after my SD card was formatted for REDnand it changed named to "moveable drive" and no matter how many times I rename it it stays the same, is this normal?

P.S I have super smash wii u physical CD + mario kart DS that i bought from eshop (also safely backed up on a USB)

If you're running the game from rednand try deleting the DLC and reinstall it to rednand only

Edit: wait you're using Loadiine? You cant play a Loadiine game with dlc installed to any nand or cfw

Find and read the Loadiine OP for instructions on how to use DLC. By the way, I hope you have Super Smash bros installed or disc if you want to play MK8 with all the updates and dlc. (Why would anyone still use loadiine?)

Okay I'm confused... What's wrong with Loadiine? also I'm using a 256GB SD card (that's where I keep all my games)

If you're running the game from rednand try deleting the DLC and reinstall it to rednand only

a few questions: how do I delete the DLCs that I installed on SYSnand (before I installed REDnand)
Also I see people don't like Loadiine so I'm guessing the new method is to install games to USB / External harddrive?

I used utikdownloader I think to download a few updates and DLCs with fake signatures.
But all of this was before I even had haxchi / REDnand

system config tool should be able to uninstall dlc/updates, but u may have to uninstall the game in the process. I've never tried to uninstall dlc or updates, but I have uninstalled a game before with system config tool.

But the thing is every time I try to install systemconfig tool it tells me to check if the wup files are correct and something about sig patch, and this is when i am in REDnand mode, using loadiine.ovh to boot into HBL and from there boot Wup installer gx2 and wup installer y mod but both of them fail to install Systemconfig tool.

Is there a possibility that after I created a CFW on my SD card that my SD card itself got messed up? I mean I could still transfer over all the games and everything is working unless I'm trying to boot a game from Loadiine
or install Systemconfig tool..

that's odd. signature patches r in redNAND as well as cfw. I'm not sure y u'd be getting that error. try creating redNAND with the fw.img file and see if the same thing happens. u'll have to go into dos and "clean" the sd card in order to get that space back. disk management tool, iirc, can't do it. it will show up as unallocated memory, but it won't be able to extend the partition. that's based on when I tried to redo redNAND for what reason I can't recall.

edit: btw, make sure ur using wupinstaller mod.

Found another link for system config tool (First one I downloaded was around 58 mb) and the second one I downloaded was like 19-20 MB and that one worked to install for some reason
but whenever I try to change anything (like region) and save it just says that there was an error saving?

Carry on messing around in system config tool like that & you'll end up with a brick... Just use to install/uninstall game's or move save's from WiiU to SD.

BTW, Mocha CFW patches region free... So... Yeah... Why are you trying to mess with regions in System Config Tool???

Messing around? I'm simply testing the tool bro!

P.S the whole thread is about games not loading. Do you perhaps know how I can uninstall DLCs and game updates in SYSnand? since no game loads in REDnand mode

Have at it bro, Just saying... Your trying to change region when its already being patched & wonder why its throwing error's. To me your it looks like your going in flipping thing's on & off & hoping for the best... Also, Just re-read that your using redNAND, So its "safe", Crack on.

Wasn't an issue back then because I own the disc and own the DLC, so I just played the game the traditional way.

I've since moved on to the Brazillian USB method and haven't looked back.

I have a question about that! I'm using uTikDownloadHelper to download titles, dlcs and updates and I'm wondering can I install these titles on a external harddrive while in REDnand?

You can install them while in REDNAND to a USB Wii U Formatted drive and they will be playable from REDNAND only. If you have the REDNAND and SYSNAND linked, if you have the USB hard drive plugged in while in SYSNAND, the games will show up but not play. The ticket would be only installed to REDNAND.
