Have a rather large mange I want to convert. What kind of settings should I go for?

I want the smallest filesize while still being readable.

Personally I usually set the Overview and Thumbnail settings very low, as they aren't really all that necessary. Then you just have to worry about the image itself. If it's a color manga, 50 is usually acceptable enough to get by, while if it's black and white 30 will work.

I don't mess with the height/width settings, though you can try that as well if you'd like.

Can anyone recommend a decent resolution/size?

While we're at it, I understand width/height but what does max size refer to? Filesize? Because surely the maximum total number of pixels is defined by the height and width?

FYI, I'm reading Civil War which has some massive pages in the middle, and the text is unreadable.

I've tried increasing all of the options by 50%, but now it won't let me pan around the whole page (it gets down to about half way and won't go any further). Also, when I load an image in Comic Book DS it says "Image too large!"
