Depends what you plan to use it for. If you're putting a lot of full games on it, whether officially purchased or xci backups or nsp installs, yes, the biggest you can reasonably afford. If you're playing mostly games on real carts, you generally can get away with a much smaller card. Keep in mind some games even on carts still require large downloads to have the full game.
