Recently I just got a DSL and I would like to purchase a SCL after hearing many good things about it...the only thing that troubled me is that there are alot of different views on the micro-sd media in terms of performance...can anyone recomend me a brand of mico-sd that works perfect on a SCL ie no slowdowns in the intro in Castlevania and in games such as Animal Crossing...thanks for any help...

well there's some people who say any generic microsd does it all with no slowdowns, and some who are singing the praises of the Sandisk Ultra II. If it were me (and it will eb in a few months) I'd get the Sandisk Ultra II - it's a little pricier, but for build quality, warranty and reliability it's probably money well spent.

I got some cheap 1GB fake Sandisk, haha, and it works perfectly with no slowdowns.

Much better than my EZ4MiniSD with standard 1GB Kingston.

gotta love all these people praising fake flash memory, and the cards suddenly dying without reason and kill their data and hear them bitch and moan. you get what you paid for, there's a reason for that saying.

I did a review of the SuperCard Lite and compared memory:

The best is the SanDisk Ultra II 1GB as of now. It will run everything lag free but the regular SanDisk runs everything almost perfect as well.
