Thanks stok3d but I already bought the batteries linked to above.

Problem solved. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Hi, I searched and found this old post. Can does everyone still recommend AA from that old site they posted on this topic? Also, can anyone tell me the difference between AAA and AA? I am really confused at which set I should buy...

Any link post would be appreciated ^^
Thanks,

AAA batteries are smaller. For Wiimotes you need AA batteries. Just go with good NiMH batteries with a high capacity (I would go with 2500mAh or higher) and a decent charger. You can often buy a combination of charger and batteries, just pick a good brand (Energizer or Ansmann) and shop around for the lowest price

use nim-h get yourself a charger buy 2 sets of batteries charge 1 set and put the other in the mote. soon as they run out swap them than charge again. don't need to keep buying batteries!

I recommend Eneloop rechargeable batteries. They are the ones that keep the longest charge in the current market

I personally wouldn't buy these, even rechargable batteries don't last forever so every once in a while you will have to buy new batteries. USB cells cost more (because of the built-in charger) and in the end you throw them out just like regular NiMH's. They also store far less energy so won't last as long between charges.

had rechargeable energizers, that was a mistake, bought sanyo eneloop precharged, they work great and last long... if you don't believe me read the amazon reviews

i had these b4 too they suck. the charge doesn't last half as long as nimh and they take double to charge too.
