Gaming Reasonable FPS and RTS?

Im looking for a either free or buyable FPS Game. I want something online. But don't post CS cause theres to many hackers IMO. Nor CoD 4 since i have it for Xbox 360, and i think it would be the same missions, im not saying it will but maybe. And might feel repetitive. It must contain Online Play, or anything like that. I want to play with other people, not just single player. And for the RTS, i really dont care which one but fun i guess? Just shoot me.

Gears of War? Altough that's a third person shooter, it's still fun.

Also, World in Conflict is a nice game by Sierra.

Oh yeh, just remembered, how about Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2? That's also nice in my book.

I've been playing Team Fortress 2 lately.. I like it.. although it's just multiplayer, but if you buy it in the Orange Box you get Half Life 2, which IMO is one of the best FPS games ever made, if not the best..

For RTS you should definitely check out the Command and Conquer series. I recently got
Command & Conquer: The First Decade, which is a box set featuring all the C&C games released (including all addons), apart from C&C3 and have been working my way through them all again for the first time in years. The first one is a bit slow and basic, but after awhile you get used to it. Dunno whether this will effect you or not, but I can confirm that all of the games work in Vista, although some of them need to have shortcuts set to run the games as administrator.
Command & Conquer: The First Decade has recently been re-released including C&C3 so you might want to check that set out. Also, C&C3 does have quite high system requirements though if you do decide to check it out.

I just finished Call of Duty 4 and its the best game that i have ever played also the best graphics on a pc i have ever seen so iwould reccomend that.

Also War Rock is a pretty good free FPS, it's also online.

Get CS: source, its CS with improved graphics and as far as I know, no hackers
