Modern Single-Player FPS?

I havent played many good Single-Player FPS in the last decade and i kinda really want to now.
could you recommend me some good ones?

i played:
Black Mesa
DOOM
Battlefield 1 (didnt like it)
titanfall 1 and 2 (loved it)

I dont like Borderlands.
Thats all the relevant info i could think of.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

BL2 is a must, you'll learn to love it. And then maybe pre-sequel and BL1, but it pretty much ends at 2.

What goes on frequent enough sale is Ghost Recon Wildlands and I helluva rec you try it! Story is fairly loose-ish, but you get to approach almost any mission in any damn way you want, and there are no character levels, weapons you MUST earn, or any of that nonsense to let you pure skill through the campaign. Similarly, Division 2, that just got a new small DLC. Div is totally doable solo and has enough of a story to carry ya through the shootin, lootin, and upgrading your toon and some of the gear.

Otherwise, Kingdom Come 1&2 - absolute, unique, immersive gems that IMHO put Elder Scroll main games to some shame with polished movement and combat systems.

Have you tried any of the STALKER Series?

They have enhanced versions of the older titles now, so you can play them for cheap. I think the consensus is that Call of Prypiat was the best of the series, but they all were fairly good.

@Skv0ra i own BL1 and BL2 with addons, the series wasnt for me.
Kingdom come deliverance 1 i ALSO own with all addons (minus the soundtracks) and that one really interested me. Installed it today. i think it should run a lot better on my new gpu! <3

@cearp heh, i recently played quake 1 on my miyoo mini, hehe <3 <3
that handhelds resolution is real close to 480p so it was properly retro too... just maybe a BIT smaller than my old CRT was ; 333

@Citizen_404 i tried the original game in the series, i was super confused what to do then some kind of sandstorm came, i fled into what looked like a derelict school-building, there was some kind of pigmonster inside and it killed me

DOOM 2016 was awesome when I played it and highly recommend it.

Wolfenstein Old Blood was brilliant too and it has the original recreated in HD.

oh yeah, i played those and really enjoyed them. I also really liked Wolfenstein II.
That was a good one, i should play those again.

I got a really good one for you and it plays a lot like the FEAR games do. Trepang 2 is a good fps with slow mo and its very gory.

There is no original. There is just Trepang2 it gets confusing, I know. Its not a bad game at all, not too shabby. I've never got the chance to finish it but will some day soon.

oh i see, i thought i had heard people talk of a prequel, cause they only said "trepang", but youre right, there is only trepang².

Yeah, learning new things is always cool. I'm not sure how trepang2 ends because I haven't finished it yet but I definitely would love to play another trepang game.
