corruption issues? You mean when you try to install? yet you got the right signature patches?

Yes, all is good now, I've got the patches.
The Emunand is a fresh copy of the Sysnand, which has never been updated aside from the GameCard slot.
I'll be sure to test out H2testw.

Hi, I am reviving this post, because I have the exact same issue, and I am not 100% sure if we actually understood the problem and we have a solution for it.

I have a switch working perfectly fine for years (fw 5.1.0) with emummc on partition, yesterday I wanted to upgrade atmosphere to 1.5.5 (I had 1.3.2), but I got black screen after the switch logo.
After reading the possible solutions, tried some of them, but nothing worked, so I went for the radical one.

I factory resetted my switch (fw 5.1.0), used a different sd card (a samsung evo from 2 years ago, working usually perfectly for other things), and started to apply atmosphere (1.5.5) and recreate the emummc from scratch on partition. This was with sd on fat32, 32K cluster, formatted by both hekate and diskgenius.

No matter what I was doing, but right after the emummc creation, atmosphere was working. After one reboot, it was always black screen. Even if I deleted the atmosphere files on sd card and recopy (I was leaving only emummc directory).
I tried different versions of atmosphere, with and without sigpatches, fa32 and exfat, nothing, always the same issue.

If I use instead emummc on the file, then it's working perfectly.

This is a super weird behavior, I don't think we fully understand what is happening here.
One thing I have not tried yet is to buy a brand new sd card, and try with that. But if that is the case, would it mean that there is some wear and tear on the sd clusters that influence the emummc raw partition, but not the emummc on file??

Thank you all!
