Hacking Reading Comics on the PSP

Recently I started reading comics on the PSP (Not going to say which). I found a comic reader called PSP DiGi CoMiX by DeGenerationX v1. But it's a bit slow when I have to turn from page to page and it already had a problem to read a two page wide image.

Is there a way to make it read faster? Or another faster homebrew? I am reading them from .cbr files. Will it make it read faster if I unzip each file? I don't know anything about reading comics since I just started but if you need any information please do ask.

you could find the comic u are reading as jpg files and just press R to switch between them.

i use pspcomic 1.0.1 and it has a releasable change page speed
it works with .cbz, .cbr, .zip and .rar files
