Hacking Rcm controller mod help!

Hi!

Did the mod that adds a 10 k resistor between pin 1 and 10 inside the right switch joycon. It works but the controller won't dock. It's in wireless mode all the time. Do you guys know how to fix it? Another guide used pin 7 and 10 instead, will that fix my issue maybe?

Rcm works every time tho.

Pin 1 and 7 are both connected to the GND so it should not make any difference.
Maybe open your controller one more time to check if you didn't accidentally short or damage another pin.
Another possibility might be that your ribbon cable slightly moved out of the connector.
Those ribbon cable connectors are really tiny and have almost no fault tolerance.
Just dropping the connector several times can cause the joycon to stop charging.

I did the mod on mine without a resistor and it works normally. Have you seen if it is detected in the joycon grip? That can help rule in/out the flex cable of the rail not being connected.

I have 10k mod to, this happened to me as well but i cant remember why, working fine now though.
