Maybe it's you computer specs.

ye maybe, its not bad. but its only 2gb ram windows 7 32 bit, 1.7GHz duelcore

It still should not take hours, even with those specs.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe your hard drive is either low on free space or heavily fragmented.

i just tried to get the songs from guitar hero 1 ps2 disc with the main0 ark file and it didn't work it says this in the exception.txt

its only all the gh, the rock band rip in minutes. i dont really know whats wrong but i dont mind. i started the world tour one when i put my first post out 3 hours ago, and its about 50% done now lol.

Howdy.

I have two inter-related questions. First: some one has already asked in GHWT DLC and be converted by RAWKSD, I want to know if RB DLC can be. Second: RB2 is actually finally coming to PAL (so they say). I have playing the NTSC version. It's a little blurry but otherwise functions normally. However the blurriness make the lyrics hard to read. I plan on getting RB2 Pal version. I want to know if RAWKSD will possibly work for PAL (so I can convert my ACDC to custom tracks): definitely won't, or won't know until it's released, or possibly could be converted to work for PAL??? I've bought some DLC for RB2 NTSC, and are hoping RAWKSD will allow me to transfer it via custom installation. I assume stuff downloaded from NTSC veriosn won't work on PAL game (could be completely wrong).

I hope that all makes sense.

I just got GH5 but I really prefer "bricks to circles", so I'm able to port my favorite songs...
and finally play Queen on Rock Band!!!

(plus all GHWT and SH songs, which were uncompatible with the RB drums... till NOW!!)

I'm getting an error when I attempt to import rock band songs, can anyone confirm this?

I'm getting this error too, when importing certain songs from RB1 iso, RawkSD crashes. I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage was one of them.
Speed seems slow importing from World Tour, but not from RB1. However, I do only have about 10GB left on my hard drive...

Does this support the SDHC cards? i would assume not since RB2 doesnt yet, but j/w.

Also When you import stuff from GH5 or SH does it use the 4 note drum lines?

Most GHWT songs are very quiet, some the difficulties don't seem right, and on some songs like schism the animation speed is way too fast.

Just a heads up once again, 2.01 still has the same sync issues when importing from GHWT. The song 'Hotel California' on Hard guitar loses sync halfway through the song, other parts seem ok though.

im trying to dump the songs from my gh3 game to a usb stick and it works fine but its seems to be dumping them as WAD.NGC lower case of course(example closer.wad.ngc) and the program RawkSD it only imports WOD and ISO for gH 3?or should i use superdump to dump gh3? or it doesnt matter? i dont kno what im doing lol any help is greatlly appreciated

Will it ever be possible for the RawkSD PC app to manage and store downloaded RB2 DLC? I know there's a RB2 DLC Manager already out there, but it's clunky and doesn't really work well with RawkSD customs and exports... it would be brilliant if RawkSD could manage downloaded DLC at the same time.

I imagine an export from SD card function would be possible?

Is it possible to change the icon for RawkSD songs (the '2' for on-disc songs, and arrow for DLC) so instead of the DLC icon, there would be a RB1 icon (for example)?
This way, we wouldn't need to rename the songs to differentiate the imports from DLC.

Even with the update I still have to turn up guitar hero 5 songs up way higher then normal rb songs. Other than this problem great job guys
