ram error or not.

i see in control panel my ram installed 2gb but 1.89gb usable. is it normal?
Normally I'm one of the super sarcastic guys, but the coin landed on tails this time,
So here's a serious answer.

As Ryccardo said, the most likely reason is the rest of the memory is being used by another part of the system,
If you don't have a dedicated GPU, in your bios, you may have the option to set a portion of your ram as 'vram' or 'video ram'.

Here are some other causes:
  • The devices that are installed in the computer and the memory that is reserved by those devices.
  • The ability of the motherboard to handle memory
  • Other system settings
So, in short. No, it's not a problem
