Hacking R4III SDHC Problem

Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum....have just bought 2 R4IIIs with SDHC cards. Tried both of them in 2 different DS Lites. Every time the upper screens show a red icon and 'Menu?' underneath. Have downloaded the correct software from the manufacturer and extracted it and tried alternative versions from the internet but it keeps happening. The I tried a friend's M3 card and it worked perfectly. Pls help!

did u try a normal microsd on it?no sdhc. (im not sure if the r4ds III support sdhc)

download the latest firmware for ur r4ds from that site (click on r4ds-III)

Nope, what I'm thinking is that the only card that shows a red icon with Menu? underneath is a DSTT (as far as I know). that's why I thought I'd show the picture. If the message looks like that then it means either the R4-III is a fake (a DSTT with a R4-III sticker) or the R4-III is a clone of the DSTT and not the R4 itself.
